Whether exploring how a person navigates a building or a book, I have always enjoyed the challenge of shaping user experience. My professional experience includes seven years of work in print and environmental graphic design in Boston and St. Louis, three years of teaching at Washington University in St. Louis, and a summer 2009 internship with frog design in New York.
I joined Carnegie Mellon's Master of Design program in the fall of 2008. Through coursework in the Interaction Design and Communication Planning and Information Design programs I've gained a strong foundation in human-centered design. I enjoy mapping out larger systems and services as well as working on a more detailed level to develop written, visual, and interactive content.Master of Design Candidate, Interaction Design
